Honors Biology I

About the Course

Honors Biology I is designed to focus on students’ in depth analysis the concepts, principles, and properties of Life and Living Systems.  Students will not only learn new information about many topics, but they will also learn how to approach new information from an analytical, scientific manner. Some of the concepts covered in this course will include, classifications of cells & life, cellular structure & reproduction, genetics, evolution,  plants & animals, as well as other many other topics. Although these concepts may appear intimidating at this time, they will be broken down into smaller pieces that will make them easier to understand. I invite every student to listen, learn from, and participate in the classroom activities and discussions on these different topics. From your participation, everyone will gain a better understanding of each concept.
