ABOUT ME

I grew up in Gibson City, Ill., and graduated from GCMS High School. In high school I was a three sport athlete competing in wrestling, football and track & field. I was also involved in....

 

When I started college, I enrolled at Michigan Technolgical University in Houghton, Mi., to major in biomedical engineering. When I decided to become a teacher, I transferred to Illinois State University to finish my degree. After completing my bachelors in biology education at ISU, I joined the Edwardsviile High School faculty in 2007. In my time at EHS, I have taught a variety of sciences classes including:

  • Biology I

  • Honors Biology I

  • Honors Biology II

  • Environmental Science

  • Earth and Space Science

  • Semester Earth Science

 

My wife, Danielle, and I currently live in Troy, Ill., with our rescue dog, Hudson. In my time off, I enjoy hunting, fishing. My time in northern Michigan cemented my love of the North Woods and I try to travel north to spend time on the lake and go Muskee fishing as often as I can.
